Who We Are

If you haven’t already stumbled across our site we are Anthony and Elise from Positive World Travel. We have been travelling the world for the past two years and have plans to do so indefinitely. Does this mean we will never go home? Well no, not really… We love our country Australia, our family and friends but we have a passion to travel and we are driven to inspire others to realise their dreams of travel.

So, for this reason we launched Positive World Travel. We want people to learn as much as they can about the world around them and the endless possibilities of travel, but doing so in a positive way. We share with people how they can make their travels positive for themselves and for the countries they visit.

Our Passion

Passion is what drives us in this world and we have so many. It might be pursuing a new travel destination or working to promote positive NGO’s. However, if we were to list our main passion it would be crafting ideas and goals, which inspire others to make a changes in their lives and fulfill their dreams. This may or may not be in travel, but we hope our lifestyle change acts as a catalyst for people who want more out of their life. Of course, Positive World Travel is about travel, but it is also about understanding that anyone can make a change in their lives, following your inner intuition and believing that yes, you can make it happen. Our passion is what drives us to make sure others follow theirs.

What Impact Will Your Business Have?

Positive World Travel is already making an impact in many peoples lives from the consistent emails of thanks we receive. We love it when we read about how we were part of the inspiration that made people travel or even when we find out others have chosen their next holiday destination all from watching and reading about our own adventures.

Currently, we have a list of eBooks we are in the process of writing. These are aimed at helping others travel to places we have been and we noticed there was a lack of specific information online to make travel easier. We also have eBooks, which are also solely aimed at inspiration for travel, and how beautiful the world is through the eyes of a traveller. Take a look for all the details on our eBooks and our future plans for 2012.

However, we always strive for more. We have so many bigger and better dreams we want to become a reality. At the moment many of our projects and ideas are just that –dreams. We want to get them off the ground and created to help solve problems, create simple solutions and to make peoples’ lives easier and happier.

Ebooks are just one small part of the bigger picture we have created and what we are planning for 2012. The projects we are planning over the coming year, will include a number of websites and training courses we feel will serve as a solution to a gap in the number of industries we are part of.

Our plans will not only help people in travel, but many aspects that are associated with it. Our aim is to launch a new idea every two months and slowly but surely begin to inspire and impact people outside our current travel niche.

The main lesson we have learned over the years of developing Positive World Travel is that an idea can become bigger than just us. Plus, the beauty of the internet means we can inspire and impact many people at once.

What Difference Will It Make?

Difference In Our Lives
We want our projects to make a difference in not only other people but also in our own lives. We want more free time, live the life we have dreamed of and have the freedom that goes along with that. We want to create a life where we can watch our children grow up and be around to support them, spend more time with family and friends and of course-have time to travel!

Difference In The Community
Creating ideas that impact our community is why we are in business in the first place. Our community is why we exist, why we sit up until all hours of the morning writing and editing videos. We do it for ourselves but most importantly for our community. As the slogan for our website reads: inspire. excite. believe. It directly evokes our ability to inspire others, get them excited about our ideas and ultimately get them to believe that they can achieve great things.

Positive World Travel aside, we will be creating ideas for new media that will assist the community to make better choices and achieve what we have with much less effort. We have made a ton of mistakes over the years and we hope that we can help others not to make the same mistakes.

Impact Globally
We will create a community that supports each other. Something so important we have learned from our many mentors. We want to create places where people all over the world can help and assist one another. One of our main beliefs is that there is enough room online for everyone to succeed in their given industry. You just have to want it bad enough and the willingness to do all that it takes.

Together as a community we will grow stronger and go forward together, helping each other out on a global scale.

What Has Prevented Us From Achieving Our Business Plans?

As with any startup business is it hard to achieve your goals without money. Espeically when you have so many business projects like we do. It can become more of an obstacle to easily and readily launch all our ideas. When we set goals and create timelines for ourselves we want to act and present ourselves as professional as possible. For us, we would never launch a new project until we thought it was totally perfect and something we whole-heartedly believe in. For this reason we believe that good ideas are paired with good design and good marketing which will bring success in the future. We would never approach a new idea with a half-assed approach. “If you want to go swimming, you got to get wet”. We believe in an all or nothing approach and our passion will drive us to achieve our goals.

So why haven’t we achieved all these goals? Like we said before money is a factor, but more importantly because we want to learn the necessary skills to create all our projects ourselves-rather than outsourcing much of the workload. If we have the knowledge we can then get started quicker. Many of the fundamental skills needed are within the StartupTraining School. While our learning curve has soared exponentially with Positive World Travel, we feel it is time for us to take the next step with our professional online businesses. The tools within this course are essential for us to make positive changes within our community and beyond.

Pursuing Our Dreams

Positive World Travel has taken us places we would never have seen ourselves. Ask us 5 years ago if this is what we would have been doing with our lives and we probably would have just laughed in your face. But now we are here and becoming more successful in each venture we set out to do, we can’t imagine doing anything else. It is this drive, motivation, passion (and yes sometimes tears and frustration) that spurs us forward into the future to continue pursuing what we love to do-living our life by our own rules and inspiring others to do the same.
