With summer fast approaching, many of us are starting to think sun, sea, and sand, the 3S’s. Indeed, a lot of people have already booked their Miami yacht charters for the season. That is no surprise, because Miami is the embodiment of the 3S’s. Not only that, it is the perfect place for water sports. You can swim, you can snorkel, you can surf, you can dive, you can literally do whatever you want. And the best thing about being in the water is that you can truly be at one with nature, relaxing and finding yourself at peace.
Not everybody can live in Miami, however, and this is precisely why the yacht charters are so popular. It gives people from all over the world the opportunity to visit this beautiful part of the world and head out to sea. The waters of the ocean are lovely and warm, the sun is always blazing, and the atmosphere is just amazing. Whether you want to spend all of your time on your yacht, or also visit some of the many towns and cities of Florida, you are guaranteed to have a good time.
The waters around Miami are truly crystal clear, as it is the Atlantic Ocean. This is because the water flows upwards from the equator line. There are tides in the area, of course, but the water doesn’t move too much. This means that you can always enjoy the beaches safely. Furthermore, around the beaches, the water isn’t very deep, which means it is a really safe place to go swimming as well.
Once you have chartered your yacht, you will be ready to live a life of luxury for the duration of your stay. You will have staff on board who can bring you your food and drinks, and they can even be equipped with jet skis, which makes a pleasant alternative to the standard dinghy. The yacht, meanwhile, will be piloted by a registered sailor, which means you don’t have to worry about that either. You just get to say where you want to go, and you enjoy the rest.
Thanks to advances in modern technology, you don’t even have to rely on the wind anymore in order to sail. Yachts work on engines, and so long as there is enough gas on board, it will keep going. Similarly, your jet ski also only requires a bit of gas every once in a while, giving you a very cool and fun way to get around.
Do be aware, however, of the hurricane seasons. Yachts are only available for charter outside of this season. When the hurricane threat starts to arrive, the yachts are either stored away, or taken to other seas where they can also be chartered. Indeed, you could charter a yacht in Miami in December, and charter the exact same one in St Tropez the following August. And once the yachting bug hits you, you won’t ever want to stop again.
